This is your lap.

Actually, it’s my lap. The impossible has happened.
After mentally accepting the notion that I might be able to talk myself into making some hexagons, and after going so far as turning to my husband at the county fair and asking, “Do you like these? Do you think you might want to learn to make them?” like the shamelessly lazy cow that I am, I found a vintage 36″ x 42″ hexagon quilt at Goodwill today.

Pardon me, I’m still in awe.

What a great score! It looks as soft as silk. Sadly the quilts that make it to the shelves at our local thrifts are reduced to rags. Love the green iron bed frame too! I painted an antique iron bedframe that color and my mother still gives me grief over the “Shrek” green. I call it jadite. Thanks for sharing your quilt.
