I actually tested the site for Tori a little while ago, and look what she surprised me with as a thank-you! Cute little blue-hearts-on-red-circles earrings! Yay!

This color combo is adorable. I'm totally wearing these the next time I vote, or get all tarted up to sightsee on Capital Hill.

And if I look sad in the pic, it's because I have no idea how to smile for the MacBook camera while showing off my ears. No model of jewelry is jaunty, jolly Jennicakes!

I can't believe I keep forgetting to post this quilt I finished last weekend!

It was a lot of fun using these charm squares.  They were cheap and I liked not having to cut anything up.

To avoid fraying, I didn't pre-wash the squares.  I didn't wash anything until I was all finished, and I used organic cotton batting so it would shrink up and look vintage and cozy.

And, of course, it matches my couch, which is a real problem.  Somebody persuade me not to keep this one…
